Is anyone else’s mornings always hectic getting the kids up and ready to go for school. Making sure they are dressed, have their school bags and lunches ready to go. If yours are anything like mine they are not morning boys they are hard to wake up and they are grumpy. Which makes them getting their teeth brushed and getting dressed and out the door on time a little hectic also in the middle of that trying to get your self dressed and making lunches for you and everyone else.
My youngest is a lot quicker to get up and moving. If he hears me moving around he has to be up with me. I’ve tried getting up earlier than the boys so I can get dressed and have a little me time. That doesn’t work out for me at all. My youngest has like super sonic ears or something, because he knows when I am awake. He will just walk in and be like I mommy and give me a hug and kiss.
My oldest on the other hand is a complete different story he is much harder to wake up. I can walk in clapping, his brother can be screaming or banging things around. This boy will not wake up until he is ready to. So I have to turn the lights on and leave them on because you bet when I walk out of his room he will try to go back to sleep. So I shake him a few times before he actually gets up and starts moving. He is a little grumpy at first but then he starts to do what I asked.
I am very lucky my boys like to go to school most days. They love playing with their friends and being outside. So drop off is easy most days. Don’t get me wrong sometimes I still have some rough days where they don’t want to go and they start crying and tearing up, but their teaches always say after a few minutes they are good to go and start being their silly goofy self’s.
